printing
Giclée is the use of the ink-jet printing process for making fine art digital images. The term—from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, to spray"—was first applied to "Iris prints" created in the early 1990s. It is used to describe any high-resolution, large-format ink-jet printer output with fade-resistant dye and pigment-based inks.
Brooklyn Editions prints our work using archival paper and inks insuring that our limited edition giclee prints will last 90 years if treated with care.
